God's Word (recently sold 1-29-2007)

"God's Word" A spiritual and inspirational painting done in Acrylics, Oils and Origami paper. A foundation of molding paste was first applied to the canvas and then layers of Acrylics and after Oils were applied.

This is an original mixed media painting on stretched canvas 24x36 which is gallery wrapped. The sides are 3/4 inch deep thick and are painted black.

Part of the artists' Lonely Figure Series, this painting is emotional and spiritual. From the open window, the dropping flowers to the small bird on the branch are all symbols important to the artist. The chinese symbol on the woman's back signifies Happiness.
